Description
This compact and attractive sound therapy system has a choice of 6 high quality sounds plus the option to purchase additional sound cards. Very simple to use, the S-550 Classic is very similar to the S-650 Style but without the alarm clock function & digital display.
The Sound Oasis Classic incorporates a multi-position timer (with 4 selections: continuous, 30, 60, and 90 minutes), a unique “ gradual off” volume reduction feature for a peaceful decrease in sound volume, a rotary on/off volume control, headphone jack and a one-touch off/resume button that stops the unit or repeats your last played sequence.
An omni directional reflective speaker projects sound from the
back of the unit for rich, deep sound. Can be used upright, on it's
back or mounted to a wall.

For the clock timer function to work correctly the unit needs to have batteries installed.
In the opinion of our evaluation panel, the Sound Oasis Classic is a really nice basic sound relaxer, the simplest of the Sound Oasis range. Offering good value-for-money, the S-550 is an attractive alternative to the popular Wellcare.
Please note: the S-550 Classic is not compatible with the same sound cards as the S-650 Style.

Supplied with one sound card. Sounds as follows:
1. Ocean Surf: The ocean surf provides a calm
rhythm that helps you drift off to sleep or creates a relaxing
Oceanside environment.
2. Stream: A rippling mountain stream helps you
unwind and creates an excellent background sound for daily
activities in the home or at the office.
3. Rain: A tranquil rainfall provides a peaceful
setting for relaxation and sleep. The shower sound is particularly
good at masking higher-toned background noise.
4. White Noise: The steady flow of a cascading
waterfall is perfect as a “natural white noise” for masking
unwanted background sounds.
5. Summer Night: A gentle chorus of crickets
provides a peaceful and restful environment.
6. Wind: Dramatic, but calming, gusts of wind
sweep you away to a wilderness retreat.
